I walked into my place …. Lo AND BEHOLD, there was a black widow walking on the floor.
I turned on the light to see better. the spider stopped in its tracks, turned around and looked at me.
I said “ well well, hello there”. The spider turned back around, walked slowly then sped up, yet slowed down again. It turned and looked at me AGAIN!
The spider was taunting me, I thought.
I proceeded to grab the nearest multipurpose all natural cleaner (rosemary/cinnamon).
I sprayed the spider a few times.
It turned and looked at me AGAIN and kept walking like it was unfazed!
That’s when I knew, I must remove it from my home.
However, I come to realize, I need to harbor the confidence of a black widow. No matter how small the spider was In comparison to me( a human), it still carried confidence, self assurance and the knowing that it is powerful Beyond measures.
The spider alluded worth, strength, awareness of self, beauty and poise. I now choose to walk through the next chapter of my life with the confidence of a black widow and so should you!
